Moofest make room it’s Roosevelt Room

Up next we caught up with the lead singer of Roosevelt Room, Ben, and asked him a few questions. Undoubtedly one of the hardest working bands on this years moofest bill they seem to have a genuine love of the hard work involved in being in a band and enjoy themselves whilst doing it

Who’s in the band and what do they play?
Ben – singer/guitarist
Alex – Bass
Mick – drums
Jordan – Guitar

What inspired you to make music together?
We all love music in so many different ways and it was that love that brought us all together with so many different outlooks on life.

How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together?
100% it took us around a year to find a line up that truly worked, it was worth the wait as we are now playing, what we believe to be, our best music yet.

What did you have for breakfast this morning?
Nothing I haven’t been to bed.

What’s your favourite breakfast cereal?
Tough choice, I bloody love cereal, maybe Golden nuggets?

What’s the worst job you ever had?
Glue factory night shift, i felt like i’d died and gone to hell.

What’s your favourite cheese?
Cheddar, a man of simple pleasures.

What’s your favourite sandwich?
Jam has to be brown bread though

Did you have a nickname at school?
Tiny Tim, im not going into why though haha.

Have you ever written a fan letter?
Nope

What’s your most disgusting habit?
Forgetting to shower has been a problem of late.

If you were a domestic appliance what would it be?
A lamp, bring light in to everyone’s life

What’s your favourite word?
octennial

Can you think of a good poem about moofest?
Moofest Moofest, you are the best, id keep you in my pocket, if in size you were less.

What advice do you have for people who want to form their own bands?
Don’t bother

How can the moofesters get hold of your music?
Youtube souncloud spotify all that jazz

Any last words?
I didn’t realise this was death row?
